Starbucks is giving away free reusable cups in US branches today – The Sun
IN tasty news for coffee fans, Starbucks is giving away its reusable festive cups for free in US branches today.
The cup usually costs $1 (80p), and it gives you a $0.10 discount if you bring it with you every time you buy a drink at the coffee chain.
To get the free red cup, which features the text "Merry Coffee" wrapped around it, you have to order a Christmas drink in any size and flavor.
It applies to drinks such as eggnog and gingerbread latte, hot chocolate as well as various mocha drinks. You can find the full list in the box below.
Starbucks hasn't yet told us the prices of all the drinks, so it might be worth double-checking the menu beforehand to see how you can get away the cheapest.
The offer is available in participating Starbucks branches in the US and Canada, including all standalone stores.
Christmas drinks at Starbucks US in 2019
TO get the free reusable cup, you'd have to pick up any size hot, iced or blended of the following:
- Caramel Brulée Latte
- Chestnut Praline Latte
- Eggnog Latte
- Gingerbread Latte (available in Canada only)
- Hot Chocolate
- Peppermint Hot Chocolate
- Peppermint Mocha
- Pumpkin Spice Latte
- Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate
- Salted Caramel Mocha
- Toasted White Chocolate Mocha (available in the US only)
But the cups are only available as long as stocks last so it's best to be quick. You can find your nearest Starbucks branch by using its store locator tool.
The offer applies to in-store purchases, including mobile order & pay, and drive thru, although you'll only get one cup per qualifying beverage.
In a separate deal, from today until January 6 you'll actually get a $0.50 discount on your drinks if you bring the festive cup with you.
The only catch is that is has to be Christmas drink in a size grande or larger and you must order after 2pm.
After a one-year hiatus Dunkin’ Donuts is bringing back its much loved peppermint mocha due to popular demand.
While Aldi US has rolled out its wine advent calendar – with 24 mini bottles of booze.
If you aren't a fan of wine, you may want to pick up Aldi's beer advent calendar instead.
