Daily Mail chats with Murphy about how his $2,000 creations are made and gets a sneak peek at a few exclusives.

‘I created an AI algorithm which randomly generates the sneakers,’ said Brendan.

The artist further describes the process by saying, ‘Imagine 10 buckets full of creative assets, the algorithm pulls different types of artwork and color palettes from each bucket to create the sneaker.’ 

The “buckets” are Murphy’s entire body of work from over the last 20 years. 

‘The other element of AI is the Alitheon technology, a company we’re partnering with which enables every pair to be authenticated just like a fingerprint,’ he says.

Murphy’s creations are found in private collections and public displays around the world

Murphy’s masterpieces are found in private collections and public displays around the world.

He is most known for his larger-than-life spaceman sculptures. 

He is responsible for the “Frozen with Desire” sculpture, a 42” spaceman covered in 6,200 responsibly sourced diamonds with a total weight of 517-carats. 

And he is the artist behind the 13-foot Boonji Spaceman sculpture in Minute Maid Park Stadium, home of the Houston Astros baseball team.

He also installed the “The Boonji Spaceman” on the pier at Hodges Bay Resort in Antigua.
