Win 12 bottles of perfume from The Real Beauty Fragrance Awards worth almost £1000!
Here's a prize not to be sniffed at…or rather, it should be.
We're giving away 12 winning bottles from The Real Beauty Fragrance Awards 2020 to one lucky OK! reader.
Our bumper bundle of super scents were chosen as the best of the last two years by an independent panel of women who blind-tested more than 100 samples.
The perfumes they loved most included L'Occitane Herbae Par L'Occitane, YSL Beauty Libre and Gucci Memoire d'Une Odeur.
The full list of winners is shown below.
To be in with the chance of winning, simply answer the question at the bottom of the page by 4pm on Tuesday February 18 2020. Terms and conditions apply – see below for details.

Best gourmand fragrance
Winner: Mugler Angel Eau de Toilette, from £45
Key notes: praline, apple, patchouli, cedar
Not the iconic original scent, but a brand new sister scent with foodie notes our testers found delicious.
Tester review: “At first, I thought this wasn’t my sort of thing at all but after five minutes, to my astonishment, the perfume had completely changed and smelt lovely and very unique. It was a perfume I really grew to like.”
Best fruity floral fragrance
Winner: Beauty Pie Love, £16.60 members price
Key notes: bergamot, quince, pink rhubarb, apricot nectar, black orchid, musky amber
A real bargain for members of Beauty Pie, a club that sells premium beauty at cost price. The quality shone through – not surprising when you learn it was created by the ‘nose’ behind the iconic Le Labo Santal 33 scent.
Tester review: "I really liked this perfume. It smelt classy and good quality, and it lasted too. My daughter asked if I had a new perfume and said it was lovely, very feminine. I would buy this."
Best green floral fragrance
Winner: L’Occitane Herbae Par L’Occitane, from £62
Key notes: wild grasses, wild rose, bramble, white nettle
This light and fresh scent was a real back-to-nature hit. “Like a forest after the rain,” sighed one rather poetic tester.
Tester review: “Fresh and not overpowering. My husband thought it gave off an air of elegance. I’d definitely wear this.”
Best white floral fragrance
Winner: Huda Beauty Kayali Déjà Vu White Flower: 57, £67
Key notes: jasmine, orange flower, tuberose, patchouli, sandalwood, vanilla
This heady floral from Huda Beauty was popular all round, and seemed to hit the sultry spot for some lucky testers.
Tester review: “I loved this and so did my hubby. He kissed my neck and said I smelt divine – and sexy, too.”
Best rose fragrance
Winner: Elizabeth Arden White Tea Wild Rose, £36
Key notes: rose, white tea, pear tree blossom, amber
Tester review: "A lovely rose scent – fresh, floral and light. It reminded me of Stella by Stella McCartney so I think fans of that would love this one too."
Tester review: "Elegant and feminine and it lingered brilliantly. I was asked a few times what perfume I was wearing and complimented on it."
Best celebrity fragrance
Winner: Michael Bublé By Invitation Peony Noir, £42
Key notes: rose, orange blossom, cedar, sandalwood
It’s easy to assume celeb scents are a little naff, but our blind testing of Michael Bublé’s smooth oriental floral certainly had our ladies feeling good…
Tester review: "Really love this fragrance, it has the right balance of sweet florals and musk. I think it can be worn day or night but it’s a warm, luxurious fragrance that would be perfect for an evening out."
Best citrus fragrance
We tested some pricey citrus scents for these awards but the ones with the most zing turned out to be these two bargains – The Perfume Shop’s own-brand designer dupe, and one from Beauty Pie.
Joint winner: The Perfume Edit Lime & Basil, £19.99
Key notes: mandarin, lime zest, basil, dark pepper, amber
Tester review: “Love it. The fresh, bold scent is delicious. It’s got all the trademarks of being a designer fragrance. The quality is obvious.”
Best fashion brand fragrance
Winner: Ted Baker Est ’88, £50
Key notes: mandarin orange, lily, rose, neroli, vetiver, amber
From fast fashion to the highest end of the high street, more brands are distilling their style into their own perfume ranges. This soft floriental scent from Ted Baker was the perfect fit for most testers.
Tester review: “A very fresh and energising scent that lasted well. I feel I could wear this at work without it being overpowering, then layer more on at night.”
Best unisex fragrance
Winner: Gucci Memoire d’Une Odeur, from £66
Key notes: Roman chamomile, jasmine petals, sandalwood, cedarwood
Most of the unisex scents we blind-tested smelled quite obviously masculine to testers. However, this new ‘genderless’ scent was just enjoyed for being delicate, light and unusual.
Tester review: "I loved it. People asked what I was wearing. I’m very fussy with perfumes as I don’t like heavy scents and this one was lovely."
Best groundbreaker fragrance
Winner: YSL Beauty Libre, £78
Key notes: lavender, mandarin, orange blossom, vanilla
We put Libre in our ‘groundbreaker’ class because it takes the classic fougère – a lavender-based men’s scent – and gives it a feminine flip. Our testers certainly didn’t need the glossy ad campaign with Dua Lipa to be drawn to it…
Tester review "I loved this instantly – it’s feminine, fresh and confidence boosting. It lasted well and it has a juicy, warm smell that works well as a daytime fragrance."
Best luxury fragrance (£100+)
Winner: Initio Parfums Privés Atomic Rose, £190
Key notes: Turkish and Bulgarian rose, pink pepper, Italian bergamot, jasmine, vanilla
Most of the luxury scents we tested got a real ‘marmite’ response. However this complex rose fragrance laced with seductive undertones shone out as a near-universal nose pleaser.
Tester review: "I absolutely loved it immediately and even more as it developed on my skin. This smells luxurious, exotic and warm. I loved the sweet, strong oriental tones of this scent. People told me it smelt really nice and asked me what it was."
Best oriental fragrance
Winner: Paco Rabanne Pure XS For Her, from £47.50
Key notes: ylang-ylang, popcorn, vanilla
It was love at first sniff for our testers, and it got even better as this sultry, vanilla-laced scent lingered on the skin.
Tester review: "It’s sophisticated, luxurious and sultry, and I absolutely loved it. Quite a few people commented on how lovely it was and how expensive it smelt. I would buy this one and I’m very fussy with perfume"
