Woman suffers mortifying blunder after having rant with microphone on at work
A home worker was mortified when she began ranting about people not being at a virtual meeting without a colleague was listening to the whole thing.
In a viral TikTok video, user Alexandra Ceberio @alllyvert was venting about her hair and clothing after getting ready for the video call and being left waiting.
Describing it as some "f*****g bulls***" she moans that she "got ready and everyone has their cameras off".
Alexandra continues: "I got this frizzy ass gym hair from yesterday, this shirt is from–"
Suddenly a man's voice pipes up in the background, with him awkwardly saying: "Hey guys, I can hear you, just so you're aware."
Alexandra freezes in shock for several seconds then mouths "he can hear me" and buries her face in her hands.
The video was watched more than 800,000 times since it was uploaded a week ago and people were embarrassed on her behalf.
One person cringed: "My biggest fear in the world."
"I would have logged off and never looked back," confessed a second.
Similarly, a third viewer said: "Her face, I would quit right there."
"At least you didn't say anything crazy crazy," said someone else, trying to find the bright side.
As more people adjust to home working in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, there have been plenty of embarrassing video meeting mistakes.
This comes after a lawyer was caught having sex while on a Zoom video call court hearing.
Even worse, it was alleged the woman was his client.
And a defendant horrified a judge by logging on to Zoom hearing with the username "Buttf***er 3000".
Meanwhile, a woman landed in hot water when she was filmed eating spaghetti and licking a man's nipple in front of the secondary school students she was teaching in a Zoom class.
