You Can Stay in This 'Hocus Pocus' Airbnb in Salem for Just $31 (Yes, Seriously!)
Spooky szn is officially upon us. After all the work of getting your Halloween costume ready and putting up DIY decorations, I think you need to kick back and relax a bit. And there’s one place that’s perfect for your fall vacay: A Hocus Pocus-inspired cottage in Salem, Massachusetts that you can rent on Airbnb.
For the first time ever, guests will be able to book a re-creation of the Sanderson sisters’ cottage from Hocus Pocus. The property even features a copy of the ancient spellbook that guided the sisters in the film, so you can try the enchantments yourself! You’ll also get to visit some of the witchy town’s most haunted properties and enjoy a special screening of Hocus Pocus 2, which comes out September 30. The best part? It’ll cost you less than a round of drinks (or potions, lol).
The tw0-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage is being offered as an exclusive stay on October 20 for two guests, for just $31 a night. You’ll have to go fast to make sure you’re the first one to request the booking and get the cottage stay, so bookmark this link now: airbnb.com/hocuspocus2. One lucky guest can book this stay beginning Wednesday, October 12 at 1 p.m. EST.
“We all know that the Sanderson Sisters’ story might not have ended when we turned to dust, nor did our shenanigans,” Kathy Najimy, who plays Mary Sanderson in the beloved films, said in a press release. “What better way to celebrate the season than to host guests at the trio’s historic haunt for a night they’ll remember for years to come?”
Plus, as part of the cottage experience, Airbnb will be making a one-time donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem.
If you manage to book the spooky stay, you’ll be responsible for travel to and from Salem, Massachusetts, and you’ll be required to adhere to the property’s COVID-19 guidelines. You don’t have to enter a contest to win the stay—you’ll just need a little bit of magic (and fast reflexes).
