15 Premier League deals that could still happen before transfer window slams shut including Man Utd signing Chelsea flop | The Sun
WITH the transfer window now just days away from closing, Premier League clubs are frantically shopping around for last-minute deals.
From sensational closing sales to addressing glaring squad issues, clubs are in the market for all sorts.
And with the window slamming shut at 11pm on Friday September 1, there are a number of deals that are still in the works across the division.
SunSport has looked at 15 deals which could happen before the deadline.
Matheus Nunes to Man City
Manchester City have been after midfield reinforcements for most of the summer. And after seeing their efforts to land Lucas Paqueta collapse they turned their attention to Wolves star Matheus Nunes.
Wolves rejected an improved £52million bid from City with Nunes trying to force the transfer by refusing to train, though he is now in line for disciplinary action.

Marc Cucurella to Man Utd
Manchester United's hunt for a left-back has revealed as many as four targets with Premier League experience, including Marc Cucurella, Rico Henry, Sergio Reguilon and Marcos Alonso.
United want a loan for any move, though recent reports suggested Cucurella was "very close" to sealing a switch to Old Trafford, which would then allow Alvaro Fernandez to head out on loan to Granada.
Harry Maguire to West Ham
A collapsed £30m deal that curtailed much of Man Utd's late summer spending plans appears to have reignited in the form of a loan transfer for Harry Maguire.
Reports suggest the pay-off of the England defender's contract remains a sticking point in any deal, but if this can be sorted then Maguire could seal a move to the London Stadium by Friday.

Brennan Johnson to Tottenham
Brennan Johnson, 22, has been one of the most sought-after attackers in the Prem this summer, and following the loss of Harry Kane Tottenham are eager to boost their firepower by landing him.
Rated at £50m by Nottingham Forest, Spurs appear set to table an offer, though SunSport understands no concrete offer has been submitted just yet.
Emile Smith Rowe to Chelsea
Fans were shocked to hear that Arsenal academy graduate Emile Smith Rowe was linked with a switch to the blue side of west London.
But with Mauricio Pochettino looking at bringing in a new forward, the out-of-favour Gunners star could make a switch in an effort for more regular minutes.
Ryan Gravenberch to Man Utd
Mason Mount's injury has exacerbated an already problem area for United, and with a transfer for Sofyan Amrabat looking unlikely to materialise the Red Devils have now turned their attention elsewhere.
The latest reports suggest a loan for Ryan Gravenberch could be on the cards, with Bayern Munich willing to allow him to make a switch with Scott McTominay possibly heading the other way.
Carlos Baleba to Brighton
Brighton reportedly struck a £26m deal with Lille to land their Moises Caicedo replacement Carlos Baleba over the weekend.
And with the 19-year-old being left on the French outfit's bench for their most recent game, it would seem the deal will be finalised soon.
Beto to Everton
Everton are in desperate need of firepower. And they will be hoping that paying up to £30m for Udinese forward Beto will solve their teething problems in the goal department.
The Toffees are yet to score this season despite outplaying both Fulham and Wolves during their two fixtures at Goodison Park. Beto, 25, scored ten Serie A goals last season.
Joao Felix to Liverpool
After a mixed half a year loan spell at Chelsea last season, Joao Felix could make a sensational return to England with Jurgen Klopp's attack-heavy Liverpool, according to reports in Portugal.
Mohamed Salah could engineer a transfer to Saudi Arabia before the week is out, and should this shock move materialise then the Reds will look to bring in Felix from the shadows at Atletico Madrid.
Dean Henderson to Crystal Palace
Well, it isn't Nottingham Forest. But Dean Henderson seems finally set to get his transfer away from Man Utd with Crystal Palace.
Henderson, 26, reportedly had a medical with the Eagles after United's 3-2 win over Forest ahead of a £20m transfer.
Isaac Hayden to Luton
Luton look like they have their work cut out for them to stay in the Premier League after just two games. But to rectify this they will try and add some division know-how through Newcastle's Isaac Hayden.
The two clubs have reportedly agreed a deal over a transfer with a medical booked in for the coming days.
Yohan Bakayoko to Burnley
Another highly sought-after prodigy is PSV star Yohan Bakayoko. SunSport exclusively revealed that Spurs and Newcastle had joined Burnley, Everton and Liverpool in the race to sign the 20-year-old.
And since then, Burnley are reported to have submitted a club record bid of £17m to try and land the exciting winger. However, this bid – reported to be their second – was rejected.
Wilfred Ndidi to Forest
Wilfred Ndidi was once seen as one of the Prem's best defensive midfield generals, but a rough couple of years have seen him fall into the Championship with Leicester.
But Forest are eyeing a deal to bring the Nigerian back into the top flight and improve their midfield options, with reports suggesting a move is "close" to being completed.
Eric Dier to Fulham
Eric Dier is on Ange Postecoglou's for-sale list despite the star telling the club he wants to see out his contract.
But London rivals Fulham have made an enquiry over Dier, which could prompt movement on the transfer front.

Nuno Tavares to Forest
With Mikel Arteta said to have "lost faith" in Nuno Tavares and Forest in need of a left-back, the ever-avid midlands club are now said to have "revived" their interest in a deal.
With the interests of all parties being met with this deal, Tavares could find himself on loan at the City Ground before Friday's deadline.
