PULISIC INJURY
Christian Pulisic could face a spell on the sidelines after an injury in the warm-up today.
The American winger went over on his ankle ahead of the Blues' match against Burnley and had to be removed from the starting lineup.
After an injury-ridden start to the season, hopefully this one won't keep him out too long.

BLUES EYE GINTER
Chelsea could return for Borussia Monchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter in January, according to Kicker.
The Blues were interested in bringing the 26-year-old to Stamford Bridge over the summer but a deal failed to materialise.
Reports suggest Ginter could be available for around £35million.
A move would see the ex-Borussia Dortmund man link up with Germany teammates Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Antonio Rudiger.

EMERSON TO NAPOLI?
Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri is a 'priority' signing for Napoli in January.
Area Napoli claims Gennaro Gattuso will target a new left-back in when the transfer window reopens, with
Emerson and PAOK’s Dimitris Giannoulis top of the list.
The reports states Chelsea transfer chief Marina Granovskaia would be willing to let Emerson join Napoli on loan with an obligation to buy the Brazil-born Italy international for £22million.
Italian journalist Ciro Venerato claimed earlier this week Napoli had held two rounds of talks with Emerson's entourage.

GOLD AND SILVA
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard will wrap up veteran centre-back Thiago Silva in cotton wool during an 'unforgiving' season.
The 36-year-old Brazilian is likely to return to the Blues side this weekend against Burnley after enjoying a rest in midweek.
Lampard said: “Thiago, I’ll manage slightly differently, just because of the circumstances.
“I know how I was towards the end of my career — not that he's towards the end of his — but it's just trying to make sure that we get the best out of him over the course of the season.”

AMP IT UP
Sheffield United midfielder Sander Berge is enjoying playing alongside Chelsea loanee Ethan Ampadu.
The versatile Welsh international has lined up as both a midfielder and centre-back for Chris Wilder's side.
Speaking ahead of the Blades' clash with Manchester City, Berge said: “Ethan is a very impressive player.
“Wherever you put him he will put in a good performance. He reads the game well.
“It was nice to have him beside me, he covers a lot of ground.”

ANTO-NO-GO
Italian clubs AC Milan and Roma are set to give up on Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.
The German centre-back looks set to be granted more game time by Blues boss Frank Lampard following 'constructive talks' between he pair this week.
The 27-year-old looked to be on his way out of Chelsea in the summer as he sought guarantees over playing time ahead of next summer's Euros.

ALABA BOOST
Chelsea target David Alaba is no closer to agreeing a new contract with Bayern Munich.
The Blues were among a number of clubs linked with the Austrian international over the summer.
Alaba has less than a year left on his contract in Bavaria and is free to negotiate pre-contract terms with other clubs from January.
The 28-year-old has held three rounds of talks with Bayern bosses but a deal has yet to be struck for him to stay at the club.

KEPA VERDICT
Spanish journalist Miguel Venegas believes Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga needs to seek a move away from Stamford Bridge in January.
The Spanish stopper has fallen behind new signing Edouard Mendy in the Chelsea pecking order, and Mendy has impressed with four clean sheets in as many matches.
Venegas told Onda Cero: “It’s clear that since January they have taken him away and put in Willy Caballero instead.
“It’s also striking that they’ve signed Edouard Mendy. It’s logical that he won’t end up on the bench so I suppose he’ll have to look for a way out.”

BARKLEY MAD
Aston Villa boss Dean Smith has praised Ross Barkley's impact since his loan move from Chelsea.
Barkley has scored two goals in three appearances for the Midlands outfit and Smith believes the 26-year-old's performances could see him make Gareth Southgate's England squad for the Euros next summer.
Speaking ahead of Villa's clash with Southampton Smith said: “He's someone I felt we needed.
“I look at the Premier League and you need legs in your midfield area because you've got to cover a lot of ground in a game. Ross does that.
“He's got ambitions to get into the Euro squad at the end of the season. With the quality Chelsea have got, they couldn't guarantee anyone minutes.
“His work ethic and attitude has been tremendous. He brings us that added bit of quality that we needed.”

NEW DEAL FOR CHELSEA YOUNGSTER
Highly-rated Chelsea youngster Henry Lawrence is set to sign a new three-year deal at the club, according to reports.
The 19-year-old has been a regular in first team training sessions in the past few months and is on the verge of a senior debut.
Lawrence has already featured in some of Frank Lampard's Champions League squads and was an unused substitute in the Blues' last-16 clash with Bayern Munich last season.
The versatile youngster started his career in midfield but his performances at right-back are said to have earned him a professional contract.

BLUES EYE GINTER
Chelsea were interested in Germany international Matthias Ginter over the summer, according to Kicker.
The Blues reportedly attempted to sign the Borussia Monchengladbach defender before the start of this season.
And the German outlet reports Chelsea's interest in Ginter is 'likely to have increased' following some impressive displays so far this campaign and they could return for the 26-year-old in January.
Ginter joined the Foals from Borussia Dortmund in 2017 and has established himself as a regular in Joachim Low's Germany squad.

COR ZIYECH
Frank Lampard is considering giving summer signing Hakim Ziyech his first Premier League start against Burnley today.
Ziyech's Chelsea debut was delayed by a knee injury but the Moroccan impressed in the Blues' Champions League win at Krasnodar in midweek and could be in line to start at Turf Moor.
Lampard said: “With Hakim we had the potential to bring in someone with real different qualities to what we’ve had in recent years in terms of a left-footed, right-sided player which was his main position position at Ajax, although I know he played in a No10 and he can definitely do that for us if we want to play a No10.
“But he does it in a way that he very much about opening up chances for others with his crossing ability and final pass. He’s not necessarily a winger who is going to fly past players all the time, albeit that is in his game.
“He can find a pass and sometimes last season I felt we lacked that when we were playing against low-block defences.
“We saw a bit of his quality and personality against Krasnodar. The idea of receiving the ball and turning, facing forward and finding that pass before teams are set, that is what I’m excited about to see from Hakim.”

BLUES WANT MALMO CENTRE-BACK
Reports from Sweden suggest Chelsea are interested in Malmo defender Anel Ahmedhodzic.
The 21-year-old previously spent time in England with Nottingham Forest before returning to Sweden in January 2019.
Expressen claims Chelsea are willing to offer £7.2million for the Bosnia and Herzegovina international, whose contract expires in 2023.
Ahmedhodzic would likely be sent out on loan initially, having only become a Malmo regular in the past few months.

MORNING, CHELSEA FANS
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is set to welcome back veteran centre-back Thiago Silva, 36, to his starting line-up for the game against Burnley.
Lamps said: “Thiago is fit. Taking him out of the trip to Russia was more of a maintenance issue for him.”
Lampard also sought to clear up some comments from RB Salzburg boss Jesse Marsch who accused the Englishman of being 'slow' to trust US star Christian Pulisic.
The Blues manager said: “I did read the comments and I was surprised that Jesse had managed to read my mind as well as he thought he did. He’s recounted the conversation wrong so I have to put it correct.
“It was a game against Salzburg in pre-season where Christian scored two goals and I spoke to Jesse after about what a talented player he was and how exciting it was to see how he could develop for us with the talent he has.
“That was the conversation and Jesse managed to put it across slightly differently.”
