CHELSEA are in buoyant mood as they prepare for a Carabao Cup clash against Manchester United tonight after beating Burnley at the weekend.

After a spell out of the starting eleven, £58m signing Christian Pulisic turned up to the party on Saturday with a stunning hat-trick in the 4-2 win at Turf Moor.

  • FRANK LAMPARD has revealed N'Golo Kante and Antonio Rudiger will not be fit to face Man Utd in the Carabao Cup tomorrow night.

    The Chelsea boss said: “You want me to name the team? I have to be aware that we haven’t changed that much.

    “That’s my prerogative and the team is going pretty well.

    “This game may be an opportunity for the players not playing – not to do with age, more to do with minutes in games – might mean some of the more experienced ones playing.”

    Asked whether Kante would be fit, he said: “No.

    On Rudiger, he added: “No.”
