Romelu Lukaku will again sit out today's friendly against Tottenham in Shanghai, but he is fit enough to play – United do not want to risk him suffering injury which could scupper the Inter transfer

ROMELU LUKAKU is fit – despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer claiming injury will rule him out of today’s clash with Tottenham.
The Belgian will sit out the pre-season friendly in Shanghai this morning, the fourth game he has missed on Manchester United’s summer tour.
But SunSport can reveal the striker is actually able to take part in matches, but the club and Lukaku have decided it is not worth risking him getting injured and scuppering a £75million move to Inter Milan.
For the past two weeks United have only described Lukaku’s injury as a “niggle” which has seen him sit out the two matches in Australia and last weekend’s win over Inter in Singapore.
But the 26-year-old has actually been taking part in training with the rest of the squad and was pictured training alone during a session at the Yuanshen Stadium in Shanghai.

MANCHESTER UNITED have been told by Steve Bruce that target Sean Longstaff is going nowhere.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have been eyeing up the Newcastle midfielder all summer with the view to submitting a £30million bid.
But Bruce believes the youngster will be an integral part of his team at St James' Park this season.
The 58-year-old said: “We don’t want to sell our best young players, that’s for sure.
“So that won’t happen. I’m very confident of that.”

MANCHESTER UNITED are closing in on the signing of Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to reports.
Last summer saw the Red Devils push hard to sign the Serbian midfielder but the Biancocelesti held firm.
But Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport report that United now look set to land the Serie A star for £67million with a potential £4.4million in add ons.
