A political mix up, a budding MLB star and a remarkable marathoner. This is Good Sports
#Number20for2020
Country music legend Garth Brooks wore a Barry Sanders jersey in Detroit. This makes sense. Barry Sanders very-famously played his entire NFL career in the Motor City. Some Garth fans, however, thought the jersey (Sanders, 20) was a political statement. You know, given the fact that Bernie Sanders is running for president in 2020.

No, people, Garth is just a #BarryBro.
Barry had some fun with it on Twitter, though, asking Brooks to be his VP and promoting the hashtag #Number20for2020
'HE WANTED ME TO PLAY TENNIS'

Bo Bichette's father, Dante, was a 14-year big league slugger. You may remember him: he played for the Rockies and hit bombs. So it was obvious his son would follow that path, right? Not quite. According to the Blue Jays shortstop, that's not really how things worked out: “He didn’t want me to play baseball. He wanted me to play tennis."
A REMARKABLE MARATHON FEAT

You know that thing you do where you qualify for the Olympics in your first sanctioned marathon ever? Oh, you don't?
Well, that's what American Molly Seidel did Saturday, finishing second in competition in Atlanta. "I definitely did not expect to be up here,” Seidel said.
An injury prevented the now-25-year-old from competing at the 2016 Olympic Trials, but her place in Tokyo is now secure.
