Antonio Conte tells Southampton bench to shush while 2-1 up before Tottenham collapse and concede twice
TOTTENHAM boss Antonio Conte was left with egg on his face after telling the Southampton bench to shush during Wednesday night's game.
The Italian, 52, was clearly upset at something that occurred during the match and let his emotions get the better of him.
And he was clearly feeling boastful after Son Heung-min scored to put his side 2-1 up with 20 minutes to go.
Conte turned towards the Saints bench, put his finger to his lip and began to shush his opposite bench.
But unfortunately for Conte he was left to rue that act as Southampton scored twice in five minutes to turn the game on its head.
And it was Southampton manager Ralph Hassenhuttl who had the last laugh as his side came away with a 3-2 win.
Meanwhile, a rain-soaked Conte looked miserable at full-time and several fans have mocked the Spurs boss for his actions.
One fan wrote: "Life comes at you hard in the Premier League."

Another added: "Pure brilliance."
A third said: "Life comes at you fast."
Some other supporters were a little more insulting, taking things a bit further than just mockery.
One said: "Hasenhuttl put in a clinic so hard it exposed his hair transplant… The Saints are unreal."
Another said: "Ralph (Hassenhuttl) slapped his toupe off."
