Arsenal fans find old video of Ozil saying he would want Kolasinac to help him out in a fight – The Sun
MESUT Ozil revealed Sead Kolasinac is the one teammate he'd want on his side in a fight – in a video made long before the Bosnian defender fought off knife-wielding thugs trying to steal the German's car and watch yesterday.
Gunners fans have dug up an old "Teammates Special" for Arsenal Nation Live, both Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang claimed they'd like Kolasinac to have their back.
The clip, which appears to have been made in February, was spotted by an eagle-eyed fan on Reddit, with the user captioning the post: "They knew."
The German, 30, was involved in an attempted carjacking by thugs in North London, with the 26-year-old Bosnian taking them on with his bare hands.
In an astonishing video, Ozil was seen racing through North London in his Mercedes G-Class SUV as the masked carjackers gave chase.
The ordeal started at defender Kolasinac's house in leafy Childs Hill at around 5pm on Thursday when the knife-wielding thugs tried to steal a watch and gain access to Ozil's car.
Dramatic footage shows Kolasinac – nicknamed The Tank – leaping from the £100,000 motor and fighting off the armed attackers with his bare hands.
"WE'RE FINE"
But after Kolasinac got back in the car, the horror continued as the moped muggers chased the players for a mile down Golders Green Road at high speed.
Even when midfielder Ozil's car came to a halt, the helmet-wearing raiders launched stones and a brick at the 4×4's windows.
A "terrified" Ozil – whose house is now guarded by security – and his wife Amine, who was in the car at the time of the attack, then abandoned the gold-trimmed SUV and fled on foot.
They took refuge in their favourite Turkish restaurant, who the star had called for help during the drama.
Staff immediately rushed to the £350,000-a-week star's aid, piling out onto the street to help chase away the would-be carjackers.
Police rushed to the scene and cops were later spotted questioning the Gunners midfielder.
Earlier on Friday, Kolasinac took to Twitter to reveal both he and Ozil were "fine".
The defender even added a fist emoji in reference to his incredible bravery in facing the attackers despite being unarmed.
