Barnsley ace Adam Hammill ready to quit England as talks begin with Australian side Perth Glory
ADAM HAMMILL is ready to quit Barnsley and open talks with Australian side Perth Glory.
Former Liverpool youngster Hammill is out of contract after the final showdown with Derby County on Sunday.
And Aussie glamour club Perth are keen to take him to the A League if they can sort out personal terms.
Hammill has been a big hit for Barnsley since joining them but he could now try his luck Down Under as a free agent.
Meanwhile, the Tykes boosted their hopes of avoiding Championship relegation with a stunning 2-0 victory over promotion-chasing Brentford in the Championship at the weekend.
Kieffer Moore scored the opener after 11 minutes.
Oliver McBurnie headed in the second six minutes after the break in what might have been his last home appearance for Barnsley.
The home side had lost more points from winning positions at home than any other side before the game, but they held on to end their run of four games without a win.
