PAUL MERSON reckons Chelsea will topple Liverpool and win the Premier League in the next few years after their transfer splurge. 

The Blues have hit the ground running since the restart of the top-flight – winning three games on the trot to stay on track for Champions League qualification.

After being banned from signing anybody last summer, the Blues have more than made up for it by landing RB Leipzig ace Timo Werner for £53million and Ajax's Hakim Ziyech for £33.3million.
