Sharp said: “I’ve been visualising that from the day this fight got mentioned.

“I’m a great mind master and that was something I’ve been working on for ages and that was a shot I’ve been working on it was just a matter of time to land it.

“Fair play to Declan he had a lot of work in there for the first couple of rounds I was down on the scorecards.

“But it’s about patience and being mature and not looking for it.

“It’s a great result a great finish and I made a good statement he’s a very good fighter.

“It's a ten round fight I'm a more mature fighter and I started hunting him down.

“There's loads in there I had to adapt but that’s what makes you a great fighter, it’s about being a naturally talented fighter and adapting to what is in front of me.

“I did say they’ve underestimated my power, I’m slowly building and slowly growing.

“Jamel Herring has been mentioning my name I’d be a fool not to pursue that.

“I could be WBO world champion and come back and defend it against all the domestic opponents as the WBO belt would be in the UK.”

“Just being a bit inactive now I've got this one under my belt and out the way I’m ready to go again.

“It hasn't changed me at all like I said I put in as much work as I could and I come away with my belt.

“I'd love to be able to go to leed with my title I'll have to sit down with the coaches and Frank and see where we go from here but I’d love the rematch.”
