Dybala wants £350k-a-week to join Man Utd but will still trail top earners Alexis Sanchez and De Gea – while earning far more than Lingard and James – The Sun

PAULO DYBALA has demanded a hefty salary of £350,000-a-week to join Manchester United this summer.

But that would still see him pocket less than Old Trafford's top earners – the £505,000-a-week flop Alexis Sanchez and £375,000-a-week ace David de Gea

Dybala, 25, however, would earn much more than Red Devils star Jesse Lingard and new boy Dan James, who are on £75,000 and £67,000-a-week wages accordingly.

If the Juventus star decided to join United, he would become the third-highest paid player at Old Trafford.

His earnings would even overshadow the wages of Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford, who penned a whopping £300,000-per-week contract in July.

But it remains to be seen, though, whether Dybala will end up in Manchester at all.

The Argentine demands no reductions to his salary due to the lack of Champions League football.

While the rest of the Red Devils squad suffered a 25 per cent wage cut when they missed out on a spot in the prestigious Euro competition this season.

That is leaving the wantaway striker Romelu Lukaku in transfer limbo, as his Old Trafford exit hinges on Dybala agreeing personal terms with the Red Devils.

United and Juventus have already agreed to swap the two strikers with the Argentine's go-ahead missing before the deal can be completed.

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly got involved in the transfer saga, telling Dybala to join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men.

The Portuguese superstar is said to have told him he became a “champion” during his highly-successful six-year spell at the club.

And his endorsement for United could prove to be biggest step yet in their continued pursuit of the 25-year-old forward.
