Former England star's bar popular with WAGs and famed for serving sushi on half-naked women SHUTS with £163k debt | The Sun
A former England star's bar has shut with debts of £163,000.
Celebrity bar Parea in Alderley Edge, Cheshire had been popular with WAGs and was famed for serving sushi on half-naked women.
However, that popularity proved not enough to save the venue, which had been funded by ex-England striker Emile Heskey, from a winding-up order.
Heskey was an investor in the site, which opened in 2018, alongside his wife Chantelle.
Parea had been popular with WAGs and celebrities during it's five years in business, but has now closed.
Documents lodged at Companies House show a winding-up order was served on May 30.

The order came after a local catering firm had applied due to unpaid debts.
Parea had also opened a branch in Liverpool and are set to open a new bar in Spinninfield in Central Manchester following the closure of the Alderley Edge site.
Co-owner James Golden told the Manchester Evening News: "We closed the bar as our lease was up for renewal and the village had gone very quiet.
"We have recently launched in Liverpool and are opening in Spinningfields shortly."

The bar had gained notoriety back in 2019 following their first anniversary party.
Sushi was reportedly served on a half-naked woman during the event, with leaves and carefully placed salmon bites maintaining her dignity.
Parea was also targeted by a masked attacker in 2020, who threw bricks at the bar's windows.
Ex-England international Heskey scored 110 goals in 516 Premier League appearances for five clubs, including Liverpool and Aston Villa.
Since retiring in 2016 he has had a number of roles with Leicester City Women and is currently their first-team technical coach.
