Horrific moment former UFC champ Junior dos Santos dislocated shoulder during fight as concerned opponent stops bout
FORMER UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos suffered a gruesome dislocated shoulder in his Eagle FC debut.
The Brazilian made his promotional bow last Friday on the Russian MMA promotion's latest American show.
But he was left needing medical treatment after blowing out his right shoulder in the third round of his clash with fellow UFC vet Yorgan De Castro.
After pushing De Castro up against the cage, JDS looked to land a big overhand right on the shelled-up heavyweight.
But his shoulder came out of its socket and immediately put him on the defensive.
De Castro noticed the horrific injury and pointed it out to the referee in order for him to check it out.

Upon assessing the damage, the ref waved off the fight – which down as a TKO victory for De Castro.
Dos Santos issued a statement on his injury on Monday night, saying: “Hey guys, I’m home already.
"I took my shower, I had my dinner, I’m ready to get some rest now.
