'I would throw it back in his face' – Tommy Fury slams ex-UFC star Tyron Woodley for accepting Rolex off Jake Paul
TOMMY FURY says Jake Paul will get a Rolex smashed into his face if he tries to buy him off with gifts ahead of any potential fight.
When the 22-year-old Brit pulled out of their Florida clash, Tyron Woodley jumped in for a rematch with his fellow American on 12 days notice.
There was plenty of bad blood from the original Paul points win but the grudge appeared to be settled when the YouTube celeb gifted the MMA star a £9,000 watch, just a couple of days out from the fight.
Tommy, little brother to undefeated WBC heavyweight king Tyson, watched the bizarre interaction take place and then the tedious start to the fight.
And he reckons the pricey present will have contributed to Woodley getting knocked spark out in round six with a single sickening shot.
The Love Island hunks old the Unibet Lowdown: “When Woodley accepted that Rolex from him I thought ‘that is not a real champion’.
"If he offered me a ollex I would throw it back in his face. I don’t want anything from him apart from a fight in the ring.
“I understand mutual respect before a fight but not all that nicey-nicey stuff, this is the fight game.

“How is he supposed to get the ring and knock lumps out of him when he has just given him a Rolex?
"Presents and gifts and all that s***, what is that all about?”
Fury pulled out of the bout with a bacterial chest infection and a broken rib but is hopeful of getting the social media showdown rearranged for early 2022.
Coughing through his interview, Fury said: “The doctor has advised me to take 12 weeks out with the rib but I can’t do nothing for 12 weeks.
"I have just done two weeks and feel like ripping my own head off.
“I will get Christmas and New Year out of the way and then start doing whatever my body lets me do.
“I will do anything possible to get through the recovery process.”
