Man City star Angelino wanted by RB Leipzig on season-long loan transfer again with £18m obligation to buy
RB LEIPZIG are close to landing Manchester City's Angelino on loan for another season – with an obligation to buy added to the deal.
City want around £18million for the Spanish left-back, according to Goal journalist Ronan Murphy.
The deal is all but complete, as Leipzig and Angelino have agreed personal terms, while negotiations with City could be finalised during the week.
After his side's Champions League exit in August, Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann was optimistic about keeping Angelino.
In an interview with Bild he said: “I am very confident that we can reach an agreement with Manchester City.
"Both clubs are out of the Champions League and the focus is no longer on the tournament."

Angelino, 23, still has three years left on his City contract, so they won't be prepared to let him go on the cheap.
They signed him from PSV Eindhoven for £10.8million in July 2019 so could be set to make a tidy profit.
He made just 15 appearances for City before joining Leipzig on loan at the start of 2020.
The German side had the option to buy him for £27million at the end of the loan, but the financial impact of coronavirus meant they couldn't activate the clause.
Angelino made 13 league appearances with Leipzig, scoring once and providing three assists.
He also helped them reach their first ever Champions League semi-final by providing an assist in the quarter-finals against Atletico Madrid.
