Man Utd blow as Bayern Munich make £80m bid for Juventus ace Dybala
BAYERN MUNICH has launched a bid to bag Juventus star Paulo Dybala in the wake of the player wanting to leave the Italian side, Corriere Dello Sport has reported.
SunSport had previously revealed that Manchester United had wanted to sign the forward.
The 25-year-old has been valued at £100million by Juve but the German side have reportedly bid £80m.
The star had been unstoppable before Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival to the Serie A outfit, finishing his first season at the club as their top goal scorer with 23 goals.
Dybala has just recorded his lowest goal tally for a season since 2013/14, with 13 goals and just 5 scored in Serie A .
Bayern Munich want to rejuvenate their attacking line after the departure of stars Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.
Dybala isn't the only player on their list with interest lying with Manchester City's Leroy Sane and Chelsea's Callum Hudson-Odoi.
United were hoping to bolster their squad with manager Ole Gunner Solksjaer having an anti-climatic season, his first in charge.
SunSport reported that United made a £85m bid for the star, £5m more than what Bayern are proposing to pay.
The Red Devils also may offer a swap deal with Juve wanting Paul Pogba back in their ranks.
The player was in London recently which sparked rumours that he had entered talks to a transfer to United.
