Man Utd legend Ryan Giggs says club should SELL Paul Pogba as Wales boss reveals he ‘feels sorry’ for Solskjaer – The Sun
RYAN GIGGS wants Manchester United to sell Paul Pogba.
The French midfielder's future is in major doubt with his agent Mino Raiola trying to force him out of Old Trafford.
And United legend Giggs believes the Red Devils should cut their losses on Pogba, who is set to have an ankle operation having missed the 2-0 defeat to Arsenal on New Year's Day.
Asked would he like and expect to see Pogba at United next season, Wales boss Giggs replied: "No and no."
Giggs also says he has sympathy for ex-team-mate and United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer over the Pogba circus.
Giggs told Optus Sport: "I feel sorry for Ole because he’s got to continuously answer questions on Paul Pogba.
“I say United are on a good run at the moment and that’s without him. He’s come on and done okay in a few games but it’s disappointing at the moment.
“He is a talent, we talk about him all the time, he’s not consistently done it for United. Ole can only deal with the players that are fit at the moment.
“To continuously answer questions on a player that is rumoured to be leaving, to be injured, to be elsewhere when he should be perhaps in Carrington training, is frustrating to a manager.
