Man Utd next manager odds – Mauricio Pochettino overtakes Ralf Rangnick as favourite for Red Devils job next season
MAURICIO POCHETTINO is again favourite to be the Manchester United manager next season after a difficult few weeks for Ralf Rangnick.
The honeymoon period is well and truly over for the interim boss who replaced Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November.

United have won two of their last five games in all competitions and slipped to seventh in the Premier League after the defeat to Wolves.
They’re now four points behind fourth-placed Arsenal and a huge 22 behind league leaders Manchester City – while only being 21 above bottom side Norwich.
Rumblings have now emerged over the mood in the camp under Rangnick and his future – although officially only until the summer anyway – appears in doubt.
PSG boss Pochettino is the 6/4 favourite with Betfair to be the United boss at the start of next season with Rangnick 5/2.
Rangnick’s deal includes a consultancy period following his interim spell as boss but unless there’s an improvement that would surely be in doubt as well.

Brendan Rodgers is third favourite at 11/2 with Erik ten Hag next on the list at 13/2.
Rangnick did, however, get a reprieve with victory over Aston Villa in their FA Cup third-round clash on Monday.
Scott McTominay scored the winner and Rangnick was delighted with the reaction from his side.
He said: "I think we showed a reaction after the Wolves game, that is what everyone expected from us. We knew it would be very difficult against Villa. In the first half I thought we did well. It could have been 3-2 or 4-3 to us at half time.
"In the second half we were on the counter attack and we could have made more of those situations. We took the wrong decisions at times but when we changed to a diamond in midfield we had more control.
Man Utd crisis odds

- Cristiano Ronaldo to be left out of the EPL starting team vs Aston Villa on Saturday, January 15: 9/4
- Man United not to win a trophy in 2021/22 season and finish outside the EPL Top 6: 5/2
- Harry Maguire to leave Man United before the start of the 2022/23 EPL season: 7/2
- Ralf Rangnick to no longer be Man United manager on February 1st 2022: 15/2

- Man United to lose each of their next 3 EPL matches: 33/1
- Man United not to win a trophy in 2021/22 season and finish outside the EPL Top 10: 50/1
"In the last 20 minutes we had more control. We fought well as a team together when it was important. In the end it was a good win. That was our goal, to proceed to the next round."
And Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said: "With Manchester United's stars roundly criticised after being run ragged by Wolves, new manager Ralf Rangnick is now 6/5 to not last the season in the Old Trafford dugout.
“Meanwhile, after cutting a frustrated figure as captain against Wolves, Cristiano Ronaldo is 9/4 to be left out of their next top flight game against Aston Villa.
“And currently sitting 7th, United are 5/2 to go trophyless this season and finish outside the Top 6, something which will be seen as unacceptable by their demanding fanbase."
