McGregor in fresh Khabib dig as Irishman says opponent is ‘p***y fighter’ – The Sun
CONOR McGREGOR has taken a fresh swipe at his nemesis Khabib Nurmagomedov labelling the Russian a “p***y fighter”.
The Irish star, 31, was beaten by his rival at UFC 229 in October via fourth round submission – and a post-fight brawl involving the pair landed them both with suspensions.
Talk of a rematch has since surrounded the duo, though Nurmagomedov defends his title against Dustin Poirier in September at UFC 242 with Tony Ferguson then next in line for the belt.
Despite being down the pecking order to challenge for Nurmagoemdov’s belt, it has not stopped McGregor from taking aim at the champion.
The Notorious tweeted: “(Referee) Herb (Dean) my man he’s tryna sniff my jock strap here it’s f***ing round 1. Stand this s*** up.
P***y fighter. Panic panic.
“We all saw you panic s*** yourself on the back of that bus.
“Riddled in panic.
“I might actually be the Riddler instead.”
McGregor went onto reveal he hit Nurmagomedov with an illegal knee during the fight – goading the Russian for his “crafty” strike to his rival’s eye socket.
He said: “Herb should have checked on Khabibs eyeball after I kneed it full wack from bottom as well.
“I used the mount defense leg as a spring board right into the eye socket. But I was to crafty with it and got away Scotty.
“I call it the big poppa pump into the eyeball. And your brothers.”
