Mykhailo Mudryk posts classy message to Kieran Trippier after Newcastle star's horror show against Chelsea | The Sun
MYKHAILO MUDRYK posted a classy message to Kieran Trippier after the Newcastle star’s horror show against Chelsea.
Eddie Howe’s men were on course to book their place in the Carabao Cup semis when sub Trippier slipped up in the 92nd minute.
The England man attempted to head the ball back to Toon goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.
But Trippier failed to get any power on his attempt.
And that opened the door for speedy Chelsea winger Mudryk to pounce, with the Ukrainian firing home for 1-1.
The match then went straight to a penalty shoot-out.

And Chelsea emerged victorious as Trippier missed his spot-kick, while Matt Ritchie’s final effort was saved by Dorde Petrovic.
The Blues now await their semi-final opponent as Newcastle lick their wounds.
Eddie Howe’s men were hoping to go to Wembley again after losing last season’s final 2-0 against Manchester United.
But Mudryk showed his class by paying respect to Trippier with a thoughtful Instagram post.
