Nominate your favorite Southeast Florida high school sports team

Do you know a high school sports team that deserves recognition?  

Tell us about it. 

The Southeast Florida High School Sports Awards is taking nominations for the Top Team Fan Favorite Award. The winner will be announced during the on-demand broadcast June 24, on the event website. The show is free to watch thanks to generous sponsor support from Baptist Health of South Florida.

Teams from all sports, seasons and schools in the area played during the 2020-21 school year are eligible. You decide if a team is worthy. 

Were you impressed when you saw a local tennis team helping serve food at a shelter for Thanksgiving? Did you watch a volleyball team overcome enormous odds to win a state title? Or read about a golf team that stepped up to support a teammate after a family tragedy? Or hear about a football team that raised thousands of dollars for charity? Nominate them here.

This is your chance to ensure that a deserving team is recognized for what it accomplished on and off the field. It doesn’t matter if you are a team member, parent, school administrator or superfan — anyone can nominate their favorite team from their area. 

If the team you wish to nominate is already shown on the contest page, you do not need to nominate them again. Simply wait for the voting period and show your support by voting for your favorite team up to once per day. 

Nominations may be submitted now through April 6 at 11 a.m. EST. Voting starts April 7 at 11 a.m. EST and concludes April 28 at 11 a.m. EST.
