Spurs agree £30m transfer deadline day deal for Ryan Sessegnon plus John Onomah in exchange with Fulham – The Sun

TOTTENHAM have finally agreed a deal with Fulham for Ryan Sessegnon.

The North London side will pay an initial £25m up front to the Championship club and will send Josh Onomah to Craven Cottage in return.

A further £5m will be paid depending on performance-related incentives.

Now the left-back will head to Enfield this morning to undergo a medical and agree personal terms.

The teenager wants to leave Craven Cottage following their relegation from the Premier League last season.

He was left out of Scott Parker’s squad for the 1-0 defeat at Barnsley in Fulham’s Championship opener on Saturday.

Spurs and the Cottagers have been at loggerheads over a fee even though Sessegnon has made it clear he wants sign for Mauricio Pochettino.

But Sun Sport understands the inclusion of Onomah in the deal has proved crucial.

The 22-year-old midfielder is an England youth international himself and already has plenty of experience in the second tier.

He spent the 2017/18 campaign on loan at Aston Villa, making over 30 appearances and scoring four goals on their run to the play-off final.

Onomah then joined Sheffield Wednesday, but he was restricted to just 15 outings last season due to a number of niggling injuries.

Now he will be hoping to put that behind him by playing a huge role in Fulham’s promotion push.

And he is a playing Cottagers boss Parker knows well from his time coaching at Spurs’ academy.
