Steven Gerrard offered shock return to management abroad as club rivals Leicester City and Leeds for legend | The Sun
STEVEN GERRARD has been offered a return to management by Saudi Arabian side Al-Ettifaq, according to reports.
The Liverpool legend has been out of work since leaving Aston Villa in October.
Gerrard, 43, has worked as a pundit for BT Sport this season but now appears ready to get back into management.
And he is considering the offer put to him by Al-Ettifaq, according to L'Equipe.
The Saudi Arabian league has pushed to make high profile incoming this season with Karim Benzema joining Al-Ittihad, possibly to be joined by Chelsea star N'Golo Kante.
Gerrard could also be swayed by a lucrative offer, though he still has options in the UK to choose from.

SunSport revealed he is on Leicester's shortlist to take over from Dean Smith.
He has also been tipped to join Leeds for what could be his first job in the Championship.
Gerrard's previous managerial experience came with Liverpool Under-23s and Rangers.
He had a very successful stint at Ibrox that included leading the club to their first Scottish Premier League title for ten years.

Leeds' new owners are said to be keen on Stevie G, with Sam Allardyce likely on his way out after a four-game spell at the end of the season.
