Virgil van Dijk has already forgotten his roots as he uses wrong door on St Mary's return

VIRGIL VAN DIJK has apparently already forgotten the St Mary's layout after struggling to find the away dressing room.

The £75million man finally realised and shared a wry smile with the camera before making his way into the right room.

Van Dijk, 26, started for Liverpool in the game – his 12th appearance for the club since his January move.

The mistake is surprising, given that the Dutchman spent three years on the South Coast.

Van Dijk has not had the start he would not wanted to his Liverpool career after being dropped for their game against Huddersfield following a string of underwhelming performances.
