WWE star Ronda Rousey thanks released former star for training her for Royal Rumble comeback ahead of WrestleMania
RONDA ROUSEY has thanked a recently axed WWE star for getting her in shape for her epic Royal Rumble return.
The UFC legend, 34, eliminated Charlotte Flair to book her ticket to the main event of WrestleMania on Saturday.
That was almost three years after she last competed in the ring.
The Baddest Woman on the Planet has now taken to Twitter to thank Ember Moon for getting her ready for the comeback as she encouraged other athletes to visit Moon’s dojo.
Rousey tweeted: “Thank you for helping me get ready for #RoyalRumble2022 @AthenaPalmer_FG ! If you want her to train you too check out her school Thewrestlingdojo.com.”
Moon, 33, was one of the superstars released by Vince McMahon’s WWE back in November as part of budget cuts.
Her 90-day non-compete has now expired and she is free to work elsewhere as of this week.
Meanwhile UFC legend Rousey made headlines around the world when she swapped the octagon for the squared-circle back in January 2018.

She last appeared in the historic main event of WrestleMania 35 against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in 2019, a match that she was pinned by ‘The Man’ for the belt.
‘Rowdy’ then said she was taking time away from wrestling to start a family with her husband Travis Browne.
The former UFC champion gave birth to a baby girl in September.
Prior to that, Rousey has hinted that a return to the ring could be on the cards as she opened the door to working alongside current Monday Night Raw star Rhea Ripley.
But for now she will be concentrating on the main event of Mania as she decides whether to face Raw champ Lynch or SmackDown’s Flair at the Showcase of the Immortals.
