Amanda Owen left fans of Channel 5 show Our Yorkshire Farm concerned after she unveiled her black eye on the show.
It was still business as usual for the Yorkshire Shepherdess, who spent a good portion of the episode wrangling sheep who were attempting to escape from being sheared.
Amanda and her husband Clive had to enlist the kids to help locate them as they scattered across the fields to ensure their wool could be sheared in time for summer.
But, as the pair bedded down to shear the unruly animals, a purple bruise was evident on Amanda's cheek just below her left eye.
She explained to the camera: "You do manage to get cut or bashed or bruised doing this. Or to get a black eye, which I've managed!"
Turning to Clive, she continued: "And you got a bump out of it too, didn't you?"
Clive explained that one of the sheep had chewed on his arm while he was attempting to shear it.
Concerned fans immediately flocked to social media, as one penned: "Clive with a chewed arm and Amanda with a black eye. OUCH!!! #OurYorkshireFarm."
Others praised Amanda and Clive for raising their kids in the great outdoors, as one fan penned: "This is a golden childhood for them, like an Enid Blyton novel brought to life!"
"#OurYorkshireFarm literally warms my heart," wrote another. "The kids are so happy!"
While another fan wrote: "Spending the summer running through fields of hay. Clive gives his kids such a special childhood! #OurYorkshireFarm."
And someone else echoed: "This beautiful family just makes my whole soul shine!"
Elsewhere in the episode, Amanda and Clemmy headed out into the fields to rake up hay for Tony the Pony to eat.
Amanda was also busy explaining to Clemmy how the lanolin oil contained in the sheep's coats will make human skin soft, and the youngster enjoyed walking along the sheared remnants.
As one of the sheep ran away from the shed, free of its heavy winter coat, Amanda joked: "That's a quick turnaround – no queuing at the salon!"
Our Yorkshire Farm continues next Tuesday at 9pm on Channel 5.
