BIG Brother has brought in a huge show shake-up after axing a major nominations twist.

Last Friday, hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best told viewers on spin-off show Late and Live that this week the housemates would be forced to nominate face to face.

But that brutal twist now seems to have been scrapped as AJ revealed to baffled fans last night that nominations would be taking place in the secrecy of the diary room as usual.

She showed an exclusive sneak peek of tonight's episode which showed the housemates gathered on the sofa, where Big Brother dropped the bombshell that there had been a rule break for discussing nominations.

Housemate Jenkin, who is already up for nomination this week following the Hunger Games task, was shown looking shocked.

AJ then explained: "They [the housemates] previous thought they were going to be face-to-face nominations but now we know they were in secret."

"She then laughed awkwardly, before adding: "Big Brother does like to keep us guessing doesn't he?"

The Sun has contacted a spokesperson for the show about why the shake-up took place.

Needless to say fans were not impressed after looking forward to the drama that face-to-face nominations always creates.

"Why the face-to-face nominations cancelled?" one fan ranted on X, formerly twitter. "Is it 'too brutal' for Big Brother?"

A second fumed: "Okay so I know that the noms weren’t face to face now. Why the change up big brother."

A third vented: "So I waited all fucking for face to face nomination and they didn’t f****** happen??? Big brother count ur days."

And a fourth screamed: "Big Brother could’ve been sassy and said, 'Since housemates like to discuss nominations when they’re not supposed to, nominations today will be face-to-face.'"
