Big Brother's Kate Lawler can't remember her time on 'irresponsible' show as bosses 'plied housemates with alcohol'
BIG Brother star Kate Lawler has revealed how she can't remember her time on the show as bosses "plied contestants with alcohol.
The Virgin Radio host, 40, was the first ever woman to win the show, when she appeared on the third season back in 2002.
Kate's series was famed for its boozy antics, which saw her spectacularly fall over as she tried to put her trousers on whilst drunk .
The OG reality show is getting ready to celebrate 20 years with new E4 series Big Brother: Best Shows Ever.
But Kate has revealed how she can hardly remember her time in the famous compound as housemates were given access to unlimited booze.
Speaking to The Guardian Kate said: "It’s hard to remember what the house was actually like – first because it was 18 years ago, but also because we drank so much alcohol while we were in there."
Kate also claimed many of the contestants wanted to return to "their normal lives" after appearing on the reality show, so she found it hard when people expected otherwise from them.
She explained: "What was frustrating about life after Big Brother was that everyone wanted to define how successful you were based on how much you appeared on TV afterwards."
Kate appeared on the same Big Brother series as the late Jade Goody, with the latter coming in third.
Since leaving the famous house Kate has gone onto make a name for her in broadcast.
She has hosted several TV shows, but radio has become her passion.
You can catch Kate weekdays on Virgin Radio.
