CHANNEL 4 has confirmed the future of a popular competition show after six series.
The broadcaster has been axing a number of high profile shows recently as they cut costs.
However, one show not leaving the schedule is a spin-off show to The Great British Bake Off.
Execs have green-lit a seventh series of Bake Off: The Professionals.
It sees team summon up all their patisserie prowess to wow the judges and stay in the competition.
Ellie Taylor presents the show, having replaced Stacey Solomon who departed after just one series.

The judges are Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden.
It recently came under fire from viewers after one episode sparked an animal cruelty row.
Contestants Nicoletta and Georgina, from the Meraki Baking Studio were shown to be enjoying a session of puppy yoga.
The pair of cooks were shown practising yoga poses in a warehouse gym space as adorable puppies bustled around them.

But even though the pair were shown to embrace and cuddle the cute canines, the show has come under fire.
PETA, the animal rights organisation, demanded Channel 4 axe the segment.
