Corrie Evelyn's bad news, EastEnders newcomer exposed and 8 more soap spoilers
There are a lot of explanations required in the soaps this week, with suspicious behaviour and a lack of decent alibis putting a number of the genre’s finest in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.
EastEnders sees George Knight face more suspicion from Linda Carter, who knows full well that there’s more to her new stepfather than meets the eye, and a team-up with Phil Mitchell leads to a shocking discovery.
The truth about the Vic’s newest landlord is exposed, in yet another unmissable week for the BBC One soap. And speaking of mysteries, Emmerdale’s finest are left wondering what’s happened to Caleb Milligan, following his horror attack.
The finger of suspicion is pointed at a number of residents, with one ultimately arrested, but is it actually the guilty person? Coronation Street, meanwhile, sees Evelyn Plummer left upset, while Hollyoaks’ Sienna Blake’s plans are scuppered once again.

Vinny tries to kill Eve in EastEnders
Suki plays the perfect wife and mother but Vinny remains unforgiving, threatening Eve, who urges Suki to stop living a lie. With Eve failing to take his warning, Vinny tampers with Finlay’s sports car, knowing Eve is about drive it to Brighton. Suki works out what her son has done and races to Taylor’s Autos to put a stop to his plan, but will she make it on time?
Ryan works out Daisy has been catfishing him in Coronation Street
Ryan continues to struggle, with Daniel urging Daisy to pay him a visit. Daisy does just that, with Ryan admitting that he’s missed her, leaning in for a kiss, with Daisy kissing him back. Things become a lot more complicated, however, as Ryan discovers that Daisy was the one catfishing him as Crystal and, devastated, he plans to reveal the truth about their kisses to Daniel.
Caleb’s fate revealed in Emmerdale as an arrest is made
Caleb is in a coma following the life-threatening attack. Chas is suspicious of Cain, while Will is questioned by the police, with Kim and Gabby coming to his rescue, corroborating his story. Leyla, meanwhile, is urged to tell the truth, while Mack tries to play it clueless when he is quizzed by the authorities.
Charity worries for Mack when Chloe loses faith in his innocence. The landlady heads to the hospital to check in on Caleb, much to Chas’ shock, with the two women arguing over Mack’s potential guilt. Nicky, meanwhile, turns up to see his dad.
Damon and Zara kiss in Hollyoaks
Damon and Zara go on a pretend stakeout ahead of the bank heist, with they intend to put a stop to, but one thing leads to another, with the pair sharing a kiss.
Linda and Phil work out the truth about George in EastEnders?
Still suspicious about George, Linda has a word with Phil about Rose Knight, urging him to look into it. Phil takes her advice, getting Callum on the case, with the detective discovering something fishy, as George has a clean record but access is denied when it comes to Rose, which Linda reckons is proof that something isn’t quite right.
Max decides to tell Bec the truth – but it’s too late – in Coronation Street
Max is given some advice by Shona, who explains that, if he’s truthful with Bec about his past, she’ll realise that he’s a changed person and appreciate his honesty. Max goes to meet Bec to tell her everything, but Alya gets in first, with Bec subsequently confronting a mortified Max over what she has found out.
Paddy and Mandy’s news stuns Chas in Emmerdale
Word of Mandy and Paddy’s relationship travels around the village, with Chas upset as a result. Paddy, meanwhile, turns down Mandy’s request to stay the night and subsequently makes excuses, leaving her feeling deflated. After some advice from Marlon, Paddy reveals the reason for the lack of intimacy to Mandy. Can they get things back on track?
Sienna’s plot to win Rafe’s affection goes awry in Hollyoaks
Ethan is determined to befriend Rafe in a bid to get an invite to the clay pigeon shooting, and he succeeds in doing just that. As the day of the shooting arrives, Sienna and Ethan vie for Rafe’s attention, which proves difficult due to the arrival of the Lord’s dog Henry. Sienna ultimately shines, that is until her gun goes off, spooking Henry, much to Rafe’s horror.
Ben continues to struggle in EastEnders
Ben is struggling with his bulimia when Jay has to take a call and heads out. With the toilets closed, he starts panicking and leaves Lexi alone in Walford East. Lexi is devastated by the sight of a mother and daughter together and runs out into the Square. Billy is horrified to see her and realises Ben left her by herself. Billy lays the law down to Ben, telling him that he needs to step up and be the dad Lexi needs.

Evelyn is saddened by Roy’s revelation in Coronation Street
Roy explains to Evelyn that he’s feeling a lot better since his operation, suggesting that it’s time Freddie moved back home with him. Evelyn, however, is taken aback by the news and does her best to disguise her sadness.
