Countryfile’s Julia Bradbury, 48, admits she walks around naked at home in front of her kids after posing in the nude – The Sun
EX-COUNTRYFILE star Julia Bradbury has admitted she loves to walk around naked at home – even in front of her kids.
The TV presenter turns 49 this week but revealed she's still happy to be nude with her partner Gerard Cunningham.
Julia has three children – Zephyrus, seven, and four-year-old twin girls Xanthe and Zena – and is keen to teach them about body image by walking around in the nude.
Last year, she posed naked with 750 plastic bottles to promote the need to recycle.
And it turns out that nudity is something she's pretty casual about.
"We are very open about that. I think you need a healthy attitude towards nudity," she told the Daily Mirror.
"My kids were proud of the image – they saw it. It doesn’t mean anything to them as they see me walking around naked all the time.
"They are far too young now to be talking about body image, but it does key into that in these early stages, and the ‘What are the differences between boys and girls and men and women?’
"It’s not something that bothers me. You see almost naked people on the beach. Clearly I wasn’t doing it from a sex bomb point of view.
"It’s about a subject I’m passionate about, and I don’t care really. I’ve got to this age, and it did make noise.
"I stand by that picture. The point is people were talking about it.
"I was lying on 750 bottles – that is the number that are dumped in England every single minute. Only a tiny percentage will be recycled."
The presenter was back in front of the camera just six months after giving birth to her twins, and credited pole dancing with transforming her body after the birth.
She revealed her passion for her new fitness hobby during an appearance on ITV's Lorraine.
Julia said: "I got a pole last year, it’s one of those expandable ones which you can put up anywhere in the house.
"It’s literally from floor to ceiling, it goes anywhere. It's amazing exercise, and very, very difficult to master.
"The art of pole dancing is indeed an art, some might say a dark art but I’m going to go with art."
