Director Taika Waititi Comes on Board ‘Thor 4’

Two years after his directorial effort ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ hit theaters, the 43-year-old filmmaker is reported to have been hired to also write the fourth installment of the Marvel franchise.

AceShowbiz –Taika Waititi is returning to the director’s chair to lead “Thor 4“.

Deadline sources claim the filmmaker has been hired to write and direct the next movie in the Marvel franchise, two years after his critically acclaimed directorial effort “Thor: Ragnarok” was released to theatres in 2017.

The plot line for the fourth movie is still in development, but Chris Hemsworth has been cast to reprise his role as the superhero with a killer hammer.

“Thor 4” does not yet have a release date.

Busy Waititi has multiple projects in the air – he is also attached to direct action features “Akira” and “Flash Gordon“.
