How many episodes are in Down for Love on Netflix?

Down For Love comes after Netflix’s previous successful series Love on the Spectrum, with both aiming to highlight what it’s like for disabled people when it comes to relationships.
To ensure the series provides an authentic portrayal, it was created with the support of the New Zealand Down Syndrome Association.
Speaking to The Spinoff about the series, producer Robyn Paterson said the team “were wanting to do something in the area of love and relationships, because there are significant barriers for people living with disabilities.”
“And I really wanted to bring more of a documentary lens to it, so that it could go beyond just entertainment.”

NZDSA’s national executive officer Zandra Vaccarino also commented on how the show has been used as a platform to challenge any misconceptions there are about those with Down’s Syndrome.
She said: “People make assumptions that people with Down’s syndrome may not want a relationship or cannot have a relationship.
“I knew that people with Down’s syndrome would be keen to have their stories told and to raise awareness that, just like everyone else, they also want to have meaningful relationships.”
While it may not have come out Netflix just yet, the dating show already has a fan base.
Down for Love was released in its native country earlier this year so many viewers know how the series ends.
What’s good news about it already airing elsewhere in the world is the fact it has won itself a loyal fanbase.
So much so that Down for Love has been given the green light for a season two which is bound to also come out on Netflix if given enough views by subscribers.
Down for Love premieres on Friday, August 11, on Netflix.
