EastEnders confirms Tina is dead and her body is in the Argee Bhajee
After a year of speculation, EastEnders has confirmed that Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White) is actually dead, and killer Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) has buried her body at the Argee Bhajee.
Tina, as fans know, was brutally murdered by serial killer Gray on Boxing Day 2020, after she discovered that he was to blame for Chantelle’s (Jessica Plummer) death.
Shirley (Linda Henry) remains in the dark about her sister’s fate, believing her to have done a runner to avoid prison when she was the prime suspect in Ian Beale’s (Adam Woodyatt) attack.
Friday’s (February 4) offering of the BBC One soap saw her open up to Nancy (Maddy Hill) about how she’s struggling to cope with not knowing where Tina is.
Viewers had hoped that there would be a shock twist in store, one that would see Tina being alive after all this time.
But unfortunately, it was not to be, as the serial drama has now revealed the location of the beloved character’s body.
An explosion at the Argee Bhajee left the residents of the Square in shock, with Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) concerned that extremist Aaron Monroe (Charlie Wernham) was to blame.
But Callum Highway (Tony Clay) confirmed that it was actually a gas explosion.
Gray, meanwhile, got wind of the news after Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) read it online, and it was clear that the killer was spooked.
But why?
Well, you see, it turns out that he’s buried Tina’s body at the Argee Bhajee, soermthing which viewers saw for themselves in sinister scenes, as the show transported fans to the remains of the former restaurant.
Below the floorboards, a body could be seen, with Tina’s signature jacket – that she wore during her final appearance on the show – evidently on display.
The question now is: Will the investigation into the gas explosion result in Gray getting caught?
Will justice be served? And will Shirley finally get answers she so desperately craves?
EastEnders continues Monday February 7 at 8pm on BBC One.
