One revealing shot shows Phil out and about after he is released from prison… with blood on his hand.
And another shows Lewis with a gash on his face.
A show insider said: “When Phil gets out of prison, he is out for blood. He wants revenge over what happened to Ben.
“It’s going to be explosive.”
The snaps show Sam (Kim Medcalfe) will also be involved in the drama.
The scenes will air on the BBC soap this summer.
EastEnders fans were left in tears back in May after watching the sickening scenes in which Lewis raped Ben.
The harrowing incident came after Ben had an argument with husband Callum Highway (Tony Clay).
Ben went out and got drunk and found Lewis on a dating app on his phone, before they started speaking and flirting.
Later, they looked as though they were about to have sex, but after Ben received a photo of Callum, he came to his senses and tried to leave.
But Lewis persisted and held Ben down before brutally raping him.
In the scenes that followed, Ben struggled with what had happened and couldn't admit the truth to Callum, who believed he'd had consensual sex with Lewis.
Ben spiralled into a dark place and weeks later he opened up to his concerned mum Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) about what had happened.
Kathy realised what had happened and was stunned.
She was raped a number of decades ago by Wilmott-Brown – in exactly the same place that Ben was raped.
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday on BBC One at 7.30pm
