EastEnders spoilers: Aaron lies about the vicious attack on Keegan
Viewers last week were shocked to see Keegan Baker (Zack Morris) violently attacked in EastEnders in an assault orchestrated by Aaron Munroe (Charlie Wernham).
While his attack seems to have been triggered by Keegan’s feelings for Tiffany (Maisie Smith) still being alive, there is most certainly an element of race as Aaron has shown his bigotry and it’s quite clear that his vulgar views run deep.
Keegan’s attacker Neil informs him the police don’t know who was responsible, but Lola and Isaac spot the exchange and Isaac is left suspicious.
Later in The Vic with Lexi, Isaac questions Aaron about Neil, but is angered when Aaron claims he’s never met him. Lexi gets scared by Isaac’s reaction and runs to Ben who is far from impressed that Isaac has upset his daughter.
But Isaac’s reaction seems to be justified as hostile Aaron is clearly guilty of what happened to Keegan.
But how will Tiffany react when she finds out what he has done? Will it tear them apart or will she turn her back on her husband to defend Aaron, leaving Keegan distraught?
It remains to be seen whether Aaron will be exposed for what he has done but this isn’t the first attack he has carried out as he ensured his dad Harvey sorted him out with an alibi on the night that a cab driver was brutally assaulted.
This was another race driven attack and, with rumours of a bomb attack around Christmas, it seems that no-one has yet realised just how far Aaron is prepared to go. It seems like this could just be the beginning or his reign of hatred.
