EastEnders resident Suki Panesar (played by Bavinder Sopal) immediately caused havoc when she turned up in the Square earlier this year. The matriarch has quickly made her mark as a devious character but now it looks as though her scheming could cause the downfall of a fellow resident in the form of Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) as his abuse of his wife Chantelle (Jessica Plummer) worsens. Now, will Suki be the one to finally uncover the truth and issue him with a dark ultimatum in a new blackmail plot?
Gray and Chantelle arrived in Walford last year with their two young children in tow and seemed like the perfect family.
However, it didn’t take long for Gray’s charming mask to slip and BBC viewers saw him lash out at his wife in a nasty attack.
As the abuse continued over the months to follow, Chantelle became increasingly fearful of her husband, who exercised immense control over her life.
From becoming jealous over her work achievements to warning her against friendships with newcomers – the Panesar brothers – Chantelle started to have reservations over her future with Gray.

This all worsened when Gray decided to ask Chantelle to renew their vows in another attempt to make sure she didn’t leave him.
With Chantelle clearly unsure over the decision and her father Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) also becoming suspicious, it looked as though the truth about Gray’s behaviour was about to be exposed.
Unfortunately, Chantelle couldn’t pluck up the courage and continued to defend her husband despite her uncertainties around her relationship.
It came after Gray promised his wife he would work on his behaviour by confronting it head-on in therapy sessions late last year.
He said he would never hurt her again but he soon stopped going to his appointments and lashed out once more.
Gray’s jealous streak heightened when Chantelle’s old friend Jags Panesar (Amar Adatia) turned up in Walford alongside his brothers Kheerat (Jaz Deol) and Vinny (Shiv Jalota).
He warned Chantelle against hanging around with the family stating he did not trust them and was becoming concerned with the idea of anyone else discovering his true colours.
Chantelle was later offered a job as part of Kheerat’s new business venture and decided to take it, much to Gray’s disappointment.

As his paranoia over believing his wife was cheating heightened, he fitted a tracker into his car and later checked on Chantelle’s journeys.
In the most recent episodes of the soap, Gray’s car tracker was discovered by Dotty Cotton (Milly Zero), who questioned his behaviour.
With some viewers believing she could be the key to his exposure, another person who might get wind of what’s really going on is Suki.
Suki has made hints she is far from Gray’s biggest fan and has acted kindly towards Chantelle – will she find out what’s really happened and decide to blackmail Gray in a dark revenge plot?

Another echoed: “Suki figuring out that Gray has been abusing Chantelle and blackmailing him. #EastEndersToBeContinued #EastEnders.”
A third asked: “Is Suki going to be the one to figure out Gray? #Eastenders,” with another adding: “Suki VS Gray calling it now #Eastenders.”
