Emmerdale has been determined to broadcast to viewers despite the current pandemic and as is the same with all the UK soaps, had instalments filmed months in advance. However, as the pre-filmed episodes have run out, the ITV show has been back on-set and filming special lockdown episodes, which will see the show air only twice a week from June 8.
