Emmerdale fire death victim ‘confirmed’ as they discuss being written out
Emmerdale has confirmed the sweet factory is set to up in flames in an explosive episode next Thursday.
Emmerdale spoilers have revealed that a character will lose their life in the shocking blaze, and it will rip the Dales apart.
Tracy Shankley, played by Amy Walsh, is set to get trapped in the factory while it is on fire, and it seems unlikely that she is going to make it out alive.
Amy has since dropped a major hint that her character’s time on the soap is coming to an end, telling We Love TV magazine: “I was told that Tracy was going to be involved in a huge fire at the factory and I was like, ‘No!’
“So I was anxious, because that’s how the soap world is.
“You have to be prepared for your character possibly being written out one day.”
Amy also spoke about how excited she is to see the scenes play out, adding: “I’m so excited because I think they’re amazing scenes.
“It was an intense day on set for me, because I had so much screaming and crying to do.
“It’s 100 per cent the most challenged I’ve been as an actor. It took a toll on me both physically and emotionally.”
The soap has also revealed Kerry and Amy Wyatt (Laura Norton and Natalie Ann Jamieson) will be the culprits behind the blaze.
It has also been majorly hinted that Amy’s father Frank Clayton (Michael Praed) will die in the fire as he tried to save her.
Could the pair both be set to die in the disaster?
Emmerdale continues tomorrow at 7pm on ITV.
