Emmerdales killer Meena targets poor Manpreet in final court showdown

Meena Jutla's trial will be taking place in Emmerdale next week, but Emmerdale spoilers can reveal that it won't be smooth sailing for her sister Manpreet Sharma who will stand against her.

Serial killer Meea is still determined to walk free from her crimes and put on a show in court at the same time.

After initially feeling apprehensive about the idea, Manpreet decides to testify and accepts Ethan's offer to help her prepare for court as she bravely resolves to face her fears.

The news that Manpreet will take to the stand gets back Meena in prison and she is all fired-up and ready to put on a show-stopping performance in court, excited by the prospect of publically destroying her sister.

Later on, Manpreet begins to wonder what Meena’s planning when she hears that Wendy Posner has been called as a witness for the defence.

Bravely preparing to take the stand, Manpreet enlists Ethan’s help as she braces herself for the defence’s interrogation regarding her sister's unlawful crimes.

But although they both agreed, Manpreet and Wendy begin to worry about taking the stand and discuss the pressure of their roles in the upcoming trial.

Meanwhile, in her prison cell, Meena’s grateful for the chocolate bar a prison officer slips her.

She’s pleased to see the charm offensive pay off as she also receives a smuggled newspaper from him later that day.

Finally capturing the world’s attention, Meena’s delighted to see herself on the front cover of the newspaper for heinous wrongdoings.

As the week progresses, Meena savours the thought of facing her sister the following day in court.

But will the trial work in Meena's favour?
