Fly On The Wall Entertainment Partners With Candy Funhouse On Competition Series; Winner Crowned Chief Candy Officer
EXCLUSIVE: Talk about a potentially sweet gig: Fly on the Wall Entertainment has partnered with online candy retailer Candy Funhouse to create an unscripted TV series that will crown the first ever Chief Candy Officer.
More than 200,000 prospective CCOs applied for the position after Candy Funhouse announced the new role last year. The series will see individuals competing for the coveted position, with the winner landing a one-of-a-kind opportunity to represent Candy Funhouse while serving as head candy taste tester and “flavor innovator.”

The new CCO will hold candy brainstorms, conduct candy experiments and run candy board meetings — all while earning a $100,000 salary.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Fly on the Wall to bring this exciting new show to life,” said Jamal Hejazi, CEO of Candy Funhouse, which is owned by NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo and his brothers Thanasis, Kostas and Alex. “With the sheer volume of applications we’ve received for this one-of-a-kind position, we’ve found it difficult to decide on who would be the ultimate Chief Candy Officer. We believe the series will be a great way for people to see the selection process as we ultimately decide who is the right person for this dream job.”
Giannis Antetokounmpo will appear as an executive producer on the project. “My family is grateful to have the opportunity to own such an incredible brand like Candy Funhouse,” he said. “The Candy Funhouse team is also grateful to be able to partner with Fly on The Wall to make our dream of bringing the joy of Candy Funhouse to the world through a TV Show.”
“We are always looking to create unexpected moments, and the unique chance to make someone’s dreams come true by crowning them the Chief Candy Officer felt like a golden opportunity,” added Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan, founding partners of Fly on the Wall, in a statement. “Partnering with Candy Funhouse on this project and getting to go inside the fascinating real-life world of candy is the ultimate sugar rush.”
Fly On The Wall Entertainment’s current roster includes CBS’ Big Brother, Fox’s Crime Scene Kitchen and Hollywood Houselift on Amazon Freevee. Since its launch in 2009, the company has produced more than 50 series, specials, and pilots, culminating in over 10,000 hours of unscripted programming.
