Hollyoaks couple Luke Jerdy and Daisy Wood-Davis share incredible pics from inside their engagement party – The Sun

HOLLYOAKS couple Luke Jerdy and Daisy Wood-Davis have shared pictures from their extravagant engagement party.

Daisy, who played Kim Butterfield on the Channel 4 soap between 2014 and 2018, shared a photo of the couple laughing at the balloon-filled bash.

We have woken up horrendously hungover from the most amazing party celebrating our engagement with some of our nearest & dearest ❤️ So many photos to come but our incredible photographer @sammytaylor.weddingphotography has just sent us this sneak peek & I couldn’t help but share it ? Looking forward to a lifetime of laughter (preferably always infront of an @upupawayevents balloon arch but you can’t have it all can you?!) ?

"Looking forward to a lifetime of laughter (preferably always in front of an @upupawayevents balloon arch but you can’t have it all can you?!)"

Meanwhile Luke, who plays Jesse Donovan in Hollyoaks, shared a picture of the four-tier cake.

The couple announced their engagement back in August.

Actor Luke, 29, popped the question on holiday in Greece and shared a cute snap of the pair on his Instagram page.

He wrote: "αυτή είπε ναι ?? (she said yes) ?.

"@daisy_wood_davis is going to be my wife. I’ll take that."

Daisy was over the moon, telling her followers she's never been happier and that Luke designed the perfect ring.

She shared: "On Thursday evening @lukejerdy asked me to marry him by the beach in front of my family.



"I’ve never felt a happiness like this. It’s so surreal but nothing has ever felt more natural. I can’t wait to marry my best friend and celebrate how lucky we are to have found what we have. Not to mention, he designed me the engagement ring of my DREAMS.

"I have spent the last few days staring lovingly at him and the ring in equal measure (maybe more the ring ?) Let the celebrations commence! ?❤️."

Co-star Jake Quickenden was among the first to congratulate them on their happy news.

While Chelsee Healey wrote: "Congratulations so happy for you both ?❤."

Daisy played the role of Kim Butterfield, the sister of infamous glove-handed killer Lindsay who framed her for the murders, in Hollyoaks from 2014-2018.

She was Esther Bloom’s girlfriend but their relationship was ruined when she cheated with Grace Black.

Kim was famously kidnapped by Ryan Knight and locked in the derelict Hollyoaks High for months where she survived on tinned beans and by talking to a poster of Rick Astley.

She left after going on the run for Glenn Donovan’s murder, before it was revealed that Glenn was killed by Breda McQueen.

Daisy also played a character called Tansy Meadows in EastEnders before she was cast in Hollyoaks – Tansy was the sister of Poppy Meadows who dated Fatboy.

Earlier this year fans spotted her in ,edical drama Holby City.

The actress joined the BBC drama series as Phoebe Crowhurst – the sister of Jack Ryder's character Evan.
