Lie With Me is a thriller that tells the story of betrayal, littered with plot twists and turns from the very beginning. The series will star none other than Charlie Brooks, the actress behind EastEnders villian Janine Butcher. Here’s everything you need to know to watch Lie With Me.
Lie With Me is about married couple Anna (played by Charlie Brooks) and Jake Fallmont (Brett Tucker) whose lives are turned upside down after he has an affair.
They decide to give their relationship another go but make the drastic move of leaving London to start a new life in Australia.
Initially, everything does seem to be going a lot better than it had been back in their home country.
However, things quickly take a turn for the worst when they hire an in-house nanny.
Becky (Phoebe Roberts) is taken on for the job and life continues as normal at first.
But things soon start to take a dark turn when Anna realises Becky isn’t quite as innocent as she seems.
A trailer has recently been released by Channel 5 which teases a murder is also on the way.
So who will end up dead and who is the culprit in the upcoming thriller?

In a statement about her character Anna, Brooks said: “She has compromised who she is for her family and that comes with quite big consequences.
“She has also experienced heavy gaslighting within the marriage, but she’s a survivor.
“I thought Lie With Me sounded really exciting – it’s always interesting to play a woman on the edge and we were shooting in Australia, so the job was a no-brainer for me!”
Brooks was made famous by her part as Janine Butcher in BBC One soap EastEnders.
She has been in and out of the series various times over the years but Janine will be returning.
There has been no indication yet as to why she will be back on the square but Janine is expected to return later this year.
Lie With Me starts tonight, Monday, July 12, on Channel 5.
