Ian discovers that Sharon is trying to kill him in EastEnders?

After Max Branning (Jake Wood) heard a deeply incriminating call from Sharon Beale (Letitia Dean) regarding her revenge against husband Ian (Adam Woodyatt) in EastEnders, Ian has been left wary and wondering if he really is being poisoned.

Wary, he binned a sandwich prepared for him by Sharon and headed out into the Square, dazed and pale and leaving Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) more worried about his welfare than ever.

Ian told Kathy that he had bee to the doctors and ordered to have more tests but as Kathy pressed him, he assured her that Sharon loves him and has it all in hand. But Kathy, not convinced, headed over to confront Sharon to find out what is going on.

Meanwhile, Max seems pretty certain and as he arrived at the restaurant to find Ian preparing his own lunch, he clicked that he had ditched the sandwiches Sharon usually makes him.

Sensing doubt in Ian’s mind, Max took him to see a doctor and request tests and while Ian was unsure, Max asked for tests to be done to find out what was going on.

As the doctor prepared to take toxicology tests to figure out what is in Ian’s system, a worried Ian knows he is on the cusp of his worst fears being confirmed – the woman he loves is trying to kill him.

But what will he do next?

Meanwhile, after Kathy’s words made her feel guilty, Sharon called off her plan. But will Ian confront her over it – and will he believe she has changed her mind?
