I'm A Celebrity's Declan Donnelly jets off to Australia with wife and daughter

Declan Donnelly has headed off Down Under for this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! as we inch closer to the hotly-anticipated launch date.

The presenter, his wife Ali Astall and their one-year-old daughter Isla were all photographed as they arrived at the airport this morning with a number of suitcases in tow.

The family were in high spirits and smiled from ear to ear as they prepared to catch their flight to Australia, with Dec, 44, choosing to push little Isla’s pushchair as they walked to departures.

Looking relaxed ahead of their mammoth journey to Oz, Dec was dressed in a black t-shirt, bottoms and coat with a pair of white trainers, while Ali opted for a white top, jeans and an oversized black jacket.

Isla, who was born last September, was also dressed for ultimate comfort and looked adorable in her pink coat and matching shoes.

Unsurprisingly, Dec told photographers that he wasn’t sad to be leaving the cold, blistering climes of the UK and was rather looking foward to basking in the warmer weather that awaits him in the jungle.

However, we’re surprised how cheerful he looked, considering he was about to board a 21 hour flight with a toddler…

Dec will be reunited with Ant McPartlin for this year’s series, having presented last year’s innings with This Morning host Holly Willoughby.

Last month, I’m A Celebrity celebrated the Geordie duo’s return with an exciting interactive advert that saw them make their way to camp via boat.

The first promo didn’t go too swimmingly though, as disaster struck when their map got blown away.

This year’s I’m A Celebrity line-up has yet to be confirmed by the show’s bosses, but as ever the rumour mill is in full swing.

Ian Wright is the latest star hinted to be making an appearance, with Match Of The Day host Gary Lineker dropping blatant clues left, right and centre about the star’s possible debut during last weekend’s episode.

It’s also been claimed that Caitlyn Jenner has signed up for the 2019 series, with reports alleging producers have offered a pay packet of more than £500,000 – one of the biggest in the show’s history.

Caitlyn and Ian join a rather long list of I’m A Celebrity cast rumours, including Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway and Love Island’s Amy Hart.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns Sunday 17th November at 9pm on ITV.
